As educators we need to begin integrating the internet into our lessons plans. Several internet resources are available to help us to just that. Below are links to the best sites which help educators integrate the internet into our existing curriculum. As educators we need to know that once our lesson is listed with any of these site links, it will always be available to us from year to year! Once we have created the lesson, we can easily edit it from year to year, and use it again and again!
Blue Web: Blue Web'n is an online library of 1800+ outstanding Internet sites categorized by subject, grade level, and format (tools, references, lessons, hotlists, resources, tutorials, activities, projects). You can search by grade level (Refined Search), broad subject area (Content Areas), or specific sub-categories (Subject Area).
Filamentality: Create a Web-based learning page that targets a specific kind of learning; A fill-in-the-blank interactive Web site that guides you through picking a topic, searching the Web, gathering good Internet sites, and turning Web resources into activities appropriate for learners.
