Peer or Adult Conferencing

1.	Ask for Suggestions

Ask at least one friend or adult to read your writing and make suggestions as to how you can improve your first draft!

2.	Seriously Think about these Suggestions

There is no better way to find out how people will respond to your writing than to ask a friend or adult to read your first draft.

If your adult reader or peer has trouble understanding your sentences, you will need to focus upon making them clearer.

If your adult reader or peer doesn't understand the main idea of your writing, you will need to revise your writing making your main idea clear.

3.	Remember the Final Decisions about Revising Your First Draft are up to YOU!
